Dr. Fernandez was born in Havana, Cuba, and grew up in Miami, Florida. She earned her undergraduate degree from Florida International University before attending Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree as well as a second bachelor’s degree. She loves traveling and tries to explore a new country any chance she gets. When she’s not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends or cuddling up watching movies with her dog Cooper.
