What does LASIK Do?

How long does LASIK last?
The procedure lasts roughly around 30 minutes and is completely painless. Numbing eye drops are used and additional sedatives being available if you’d like. Although, you may experience some pressure during surgery that may feel uncomfortable but certainly not painful. After surgery, you may experience your eye(s) feeling irritated or itchy and your eyes may water; however, by not rubbing or touching your eye and using eye drops as directed by your doctor, these symptoms will soon pass.
Are there any side effects to LASIK?
Some patients have experienced mild side effects following LASIK, although, these side effects usually disappear over time. Some of these side effects include dry eyes, glare, night vision difficulty, & sensitivity to light.
